Yes, okay, I do remember you saying that. I guess I am so used to you siding with people like "Italian Stallion, and SMAZ", that I incorrectly relumped you on the Chris Matthews thing.

And as to my own motives, you forget all that "Clinton" stuff that went on over 8 years while Nero fiddled.

And while I wasn't a member of "SubTalk" in the Clinton years to any vocal extent (although I did begin to visit in 1998), I completely HATED what the Republicans did with Clinton. I couldn't stand the Republicans in the 90's for all the partisan bullshit that went on during the Clinton years. I was a Clinton supporter back then, and while I do think Clinton would have saved a lot of nonsense if he didn't "lie" about his affairs, and trying to say that oral sex wasn't sex, I also think it was ABSURD to go after him for getting blowjobs under his desk. I bashed the Republicans all the time back then. But the Democrats did a 180 for the Bush years, and more than made up and spun me away from them by the end of his term. It wasn't until about 2004 or 2005 that I noticed how BAD the Democrats really were. I don't think I ever cared either way before then, and they CERTAINLy aren't winning me over in the last year either, in fact, it probably got worse.

Heh. And as to the "leftist Bullskirt" what is your problem with Palin?

While I find the venom overdone towards Palin, I don't particularly care for her either. While I think she would have been fine as vice president, all this talk of presidency is utterly absurd, and wish she would go away. But I don't understand why the Democrats keep trying to attack her...they should be HOPING she would run, so give her all the power to do so, as Palin as the Republican candidate would be an automatic Obama victory in 2012. Or Palin running on the conservative ticket would split the right vote, and also would mean an Obama victory....so really, the left is not playing it's cards right here...
