Let's assume this is all true, for the sake of argument.There's no reason to believe scientists are more honest on average than bank tellers, or priests, or police officers, to pick some occupations at random. Tobacco company funded scientists faked data for years. They were a major distraction but they didn't prevent the development of a worldwide scientific consensus that smoking cause lung cancer. |
