Bowing is the same as a *handshake*in most Asian cultures, the depth of which expresses excitement to meet, warmth and reverence.Not necessarily. Bowing is also a sign of subservience, and the particular way Obama bowed demonstrated subservience. Even the Japanese confirmed that. |
