Throwing out garbage costs money.Makes sense. Picking up garbage, transporting it, and dumping it in an landfill costs money, but recyclables are sold. In Rhode Island, cities and towns actually get an annual rebate from the Resource Recovery Corporation based on the amount of recycleables collected. |
