The "public option" will work on the same guidelines that Medicare does.....it pays the bill. The only exception is something that is flagged as possible fraud, and then a simple letter explaining the issue by the doctor usually clears the payment.I DO see private insurers running with this one....a mammogram costs about $500, so they recover $5000 per woman in this case. They will adopt it, even against the will of doctors. |
