I stopped watching the weather channel when they shitcanned John Hope. When I worked in TV, went and got my AMS (American Meteorological Society, but better known amongst us as "Animation and Mouse School") certification and did my stint on Mount Washington. I still have direct access to NOAA data and modelling, so I prefer to fend for myself for forecasts and current conditions since even NOAA no longer knows how to do it correctly. :(As to the rest of America, rent a copy of Idiocracy on DVD ... it'll explain all. Much like "Network" years ago, started out as a comedy - became a documentary. :( |
