No investigation is needed because it should be crystal clear where the failure occurred (in the Pentagon; the FBI did its part passing warnings to there, but officials there sat on the information) and how it can be remedied (pass it along to the officer/soldier/NCO's commanding officer so that action can be taken on it).In the past, I had believed General Cone had failed his soldiers at Fort Hood; it turns out he never got a chance to act because he never got the relevant information. Does Joe Lieberman really need an investigation to know what ought to be obvious? |
