Okay, but it doesn't meet the necessary criteria to be called a terrorist attack.The definition of terrorism is set here. Was this action done to (or intended to): (i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population? No. (ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion? No. (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping? No. As such, it's not terrorism, and Obama is correct to not call it such. |
