In real life it was Colombo family member Gregory Scarpa Sr. who really did that but it was with a gun through the guy's mouth.Scarpa was recruited by J. Edgar Hoover to strong arm the Klan into finding out where the three civil rights workers had been buried. They would do things that FBI agents wouldn't do because they would be unethical and illegal. It worked. |
