Heh.IF it turns out that he was playing some jihad thingy, then go for it. Otherwise, it's OLD news and playing the religion angle would only generate more ho-hum. I thought you understood the media ... yell jihad too often, and when you have a REAL one, it'll just be another balloon boy. :) From the looks of it SO far, he probably just snapped. Maybe you'll get your wish after all, but we won't know until there's a report. If I was covering it, would have gone with the story the first day, identify the perp by name, cite the deaths and injuries and the heroism of the responding MP's and leave it there until there was actual information to disseminate. I would have covered the general's speech and a few other OFFICIAL releases. However, speculating is the job of talk radio and faux nooze ... Remember all the hoohah with the DC sniper who turned out NOT to be a Muslim? |
