You weren't personally targeted, you were working in a KNOWN symbolic target which had been attacked before. Where you were working was the target of lunatics who spat on their own religion. FAITHFUL Muslims aren't like that at all, and at least around here they're our neighbors who live with us in peace and contribute to the community. And the way it was responded to has only empowered the crazies. I guess we're lucky up here - we're a bit saner.It's a pity that KNOWING that it was a target, there was no listening to the warnings "Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States" beforehand but I'm sure you don't want to hear that either. Just blame Clinton for it and move on. Do what we do here ... have a sidearm handy and know how to use it "in the event." You'll sleep easier. :( |
