I rounded the numbers...

1996 Yankees payroll 52 million, closest team the Orioles with 48 Million..

1997 Yankees payroll 59 million, closest team the Orioles with 54 Million..

1998 Yankees payroll 63 million, closest team the Orioles with 70 Million..

1999 Yankees payroll 88 million, closest team the Rangers with 81 Million..

Im throwing in 2000 as well..

2000 Yankees payroll 92 million, closest team the Dodgers with 90 Million..
