A lot of those attitudes get carried out of the Stadium later on.Of course, they just played a game against eachother. I think most Yankee Fans wish the Mets bad fortune.I think you are in the minority. Many Mets fans do the opposite too. But I have been to subway series games (not world series) between the Mets and the Yankees, and sure, there's the normal razzing you get with any game, but I don't see it any worse than when they play against any other teams. Fans are ALWAYS going to make fun of the fans of the team they are playing against. I am a Jets fan also and somehow don't have the antipathy towards the Giants as I do the Yanks.I'd love to see the Jets and Giants in a Superbowl but it doesn't look good for this year. Heh, for either.... They both started sort of gangbusters, and one after the other fell apart. The Jets are, well "just the Jets", and do what they always do... :) --- They do stuff like beating New England, but then lose to teams like the Bills. Go figure. The Giants had a cushy schedule at the beginning, and now they are playing tougher teams. For example, I think they are playing San Diego this week....I wouldn't touch that game with a 10 foot pole.... At least the Jets CAN NOT lose this week! |
