Pelosi announced today that Owens is supporting her bill.Interesting that few in the media have noticed that one result of the "GOP sweep" yesterday was that Pelosi has 2 more Democrats in the House than she had the day before. Also, in 2 states so-called "taxpayer bills of rights" to limit taxes and spending went down to resounding defeat. Doesn't sound like a repudiation of "big government" to me. |
