Ah, but that's what makes the Yankees so great for baseball! The hatred they generate packs stadiums across the country because people want to see them lose.It also packs Yankee Stadium because Yankee Fans hate to lose.The Yanks were beat up on for 9 years, an eternity for a Yankee Fan without a World Series Trophy.Teams had the pleasure of beating them in the Series or playoffs all that time, so what has happened is only right.Besides, the Yankee 'hate-ability index" for non Yankee fans plunged to new lows after last year and had to be restored full measure. It sure has now! |
