Look up who their senators are and other elected officials.With respect, point of contention. Governor Baldacci is a Democrat. Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins are widely accepted to be among the most moderate and truly bi-partisan Republicans in the U.S. Senate. Beyond that, it was the duly elected Maine State Legislature that passed the law to legalize same sex marriage. Perhaps I misunderstood the point you were trying to make. |
