My guess: Bloomberg's not as popular as he thinks he is, or has been made out to be as per the various polls that showed him well ahead of Thompson over the past couple of weeks. We have to see the breakdown of voting results by borough to really get a gauge of what's going on. It's a safe bet that Bloomberg will carry Staten Island, as it's gone Republican for years. Outside of that is where things get interesting. |
