It's Disney news ... launch fireworks, prep for the next show. With what they pay journalists these days, no one is willing to do the real work. If a story gets out and it bombs, it goes away. Same when the story is shouted out by the other side. Another lesson in why watching the news isn't good for you or the country. Spin, spin, spin followed by commercials. In the OLD days, networks were privately held and feared the FCC. And because they were privately held, there was a sense of responsibility and news was *expected* to lose money as a "public service." Now they're owned by the largest corporations in existence and exist solely as a revenue source.Bottom line, the media could give a shit. Next story, next commercial. :( |
