Never leave home without a camera. You don't know what you might find.I've been on a Q400 before for Colgan Air d/b/a Continental Connection. The planes are pretty nice on the inside: lots of headroom and smooth lines for the baggage compartments. But the fact that one of these went down in Clarence Center, NY makes me a bit leery about taking them in the cold climes of the Northeast. I was on a Q200 last night on CommutAir d/b/a Continental Connection. ![]() I took that picture in May, but it's the same type of aircraft. When they start the props up on that thing, the whole plane shakes, but it's smooth once it starts rolling. Like the Q400, the Q200 has quite a lot of headroom for such a small plane, and, discounting the fact that it's a propeller plane, is significantly more comfortable than an Embraer Regional Jet. And considering my other option on the flight is a Saab 340B (2x1 seating with no headroom), I'll gladly take Continental! |
