Yeah, while I can feel a twinge of sympathy for his frustration, nonetheless we should call a spade a spade. This absoultely is misogyny, and it is pathological--more than that in fact, it's a destructive pathology in our entire culture. You can't blame womankind for a man not getting any. Fellas, get a grip!One idea making its way around the blogosphere is that at least in recent years, Sodini was too obsessed with chasing after young women. He would've had far more success if he had sought out women in their 30's. He was in excellent physical condition for age 48 and reasonably well-off financially. While that doesn't mean that he would have much luck with college cheerleaders, if he had tried to meet 30-something women he'd probably be getting all the tail he could manage. My LIRR/NYCT blog |
