Minorities and liberals liked that and voted for him.For all the relocated baby-boomers in Dade, Lee, and Pinellas Counties, Obama's candidacy was the realization of a dream started back in the 60's. So you are saying that those same people would have voted for McCain over Hillary? C'mon now? For Latinos in Florida, it was about sticking together as a minority, and breaking the monopoly white males have had on the White House. yeah and FL Latinos have always stuck together and voted Republican until 2008. |
