Few would dispute the need for some agencies like the MTA---but are the levels of taxation in New York (as many as five outside of New York City---federal, state, county, town or city, and village (not within a city)) plus various districts), or in the case of NYC, the borough presidents and public advocate, REALLY necessary? |
