The rest of the world feels America dominates baseball [well at least the women's softball team], so that's probably why they got rid of it, plus it's not 'worldly enough' to Europe.I dunno about sending players out, I would guess owners would worry about their star players being injured overseas just like in the WBC. Cano and Marte both had some problems. [Dunno if that's the main reason to blame on why Marte sucked this year though, thankfully Cano rebounded and is hitting well.] |
