In LA we have "county" hospitals. County-USC and Harbor UCLA. The third was MLK/Drew which was forced to close by the medical board for inferior service.I once went to County-UCLA, which is near me. It was like going to a 3rd world hospital. People were just all over the place. Totally disorganized. I walked out without seeing a doctor. It was a terrible experience. I remember later reading that the average emergency room wait for people that walk in was over 12 hours. County UCLA was the hospital where the woman died on the floor after they refused to admit her because they thought that she was faking. |
