Yup. I think Ringling even went to LA Sports Arena to get a string of dates they were unable to get at Staples. LA Sports Arena most likely offered favorable rent/merch terms as well.

Had either NBA team not gone to the Staples Center, it would've put a dent in their budget. I'm sure the Honda Center hoped they'd attract and NBA team.

We need more mid-sized venues like The Orleans in Vegas.
