How about Alexanders? They had an outlet in the Bronx we would go to in the 1950's.They also had a store in Paramus NJ with a bizarre mural on the outside which is in storage. That store is long gone.

EJ Korvette record department was fabulous. The branch in Paramus NJ is where I shopped. The rEcords all had a code as to price A,B,C and so on.I bought a suit in 1971 there for only 30 bucks complete with a tailor there altering it!

Lafayette radio had a branch in Paramus NJ as well. That was the place in the late 50's- mid 60's for electronics. My father bought a Heathkit amp there.

Trader Horn had a branch here also.I bought a few things from them that never broke down.
