They fuck around with the stats by measuring your chances of dying "per takeoff" in many studies. This ends up giving the airline industry favorable numbers.

So I'm driving on Sunday for sure. I was going to start on Monday, but I'm expecting huge crowds starting Monday for Obama on Tuesday, and I pass through DC.
