For example if you flip a quarter and get tails 9 times in a row, isn't the probability that your next flip will be heads still 50%?But in this discussion the more miles flown without an accident might show that safety measures, equipment, training, etc might be getting better. That would reduce the odds of a crash as the amount of accident free miles increase. |
