No it is not. There is no "law of averages" when it comes to aircraft accidents. They happen when an event occurs which the pilot cannot counteract from the cockpit. Absolutely nothing says that the next airliner crash will be entirely fatal because accidents occur only by chance. Yes, people may die, but chances are greater you'll get in an accident on the way to the airport than crash on the airplane. Do you feel you're "due" for a car accident?
