Again, you hit us with a poor camparison. I think for the most part, the public figures you gotta be a little screwy to take a job with TA, especially motorman. I think the public would hold an airline pilot to a higher standard than a motorman. That's why his behavior was so frightening.I expect both a T/O and a pilot to be sober and concentrating on their job while they are working. Otherwise I expect they will exhibit the same range of positive and negative behaviors as everyone else. For example, I'm sure some of each engage in various kinds of road rage. Some are also probably violent to their spouses. That's bad, but as long as they concentrate and control their anger while at work, it doesn't make me fear their performance on the job. |
