I've found this article, which gives:TX +4 AZ, FL +2 GA, OR, NC, NV, SC, UT +1 CA, IA, IL, LA, MA, MI, MO, MN, NJ, PA -1 OH, NY -2 The effect of which would be (based on the 2008 result, presuming that John McCain has indeed won MO) a net gain of seven electors for the GOP. That might become eight if the law gets changed in Nebraska to stop Obamaha ever happening again. It's hardly a massive shift. What might be interesting would be if all states used the present Nebraska system -- the election would have been a lot closer. |
