What I meant with that is that many Democrats WANT to see Bush fail. THAT is a problem. Yes, Bush is not a great president, however, the point I was making is that there are many Democrats that LIKE the fact that he failed, instead of hoping he would have done well.THAT is what I don't want to see repeated in the reverse now that the tables have turned. Don't get me wrong, there were many Republicans that wanted to see Clinton fail....but here is the problem I am pointing out. THAT is something that we as a nation have to get past, and WHY we musy now back Obama as our president, whether we like that he won or not....he IS our president, and if he does well, we all do well. I do NOT want to see a repeat of the party not in power HOPING to see the president fail. We saw that from 1992 to 2000, and even worse between 2000 and 2008. |
