I don't think the economy had anything to do with it. The novelty of Palin wore off, Obama outspent McCain, and the media was campaigning for Obama.Minorities and women wanted to remove white men from the white house, and that's all this was about. If you give a multiple choice test to 1,000 Obama voters in three weeks, and ask them to list the name of a major financial institution that went kaput just before the election, most would not know. |
