Plenty more ... and yeah, he WAS in jail until he could make bail ten days later once he could be moved there out of his hospital bed. Got moved over to Rensselaer because someone I know who is in charge at the Albany jail had a little talk with him over what he did. I'll leave it at that. "Change of venue" was requested after arraignment and that delayed his trial. Other legal motions are in the works which delayed it further and his attorney is still trying to get the trial moved, so no set date even yet. Can't go into any more specifics than I have at this point on advice of "counsel" but let's just say that I lost a friend of 20 years (who brought him here) over it all. Once things are saner, will let anyone interested know but that's where it sits right now. I've posted several previous messages which I'm sure Treopain can find for you. :) |
