We already discussed such issues as loss of MY time with my employer over this, as well as "loss of wife's services and medical expenses" and a plethora of other things. Alas, they don't grow brains in Bruno county. :(I'm TOLD that the "primary relief" will be bargaining over upgrading of the event to a "hate crime" which fortunately in New York is some serious stuff ... and that what I did with "excessive force" fails to rise to the same level. I was sick of all this when it happened, and absolutely steeled me towards "republicans" ... but this is a no-win solution all around, aside from the lawyers. I was also informed that I may end up eating everything regardless because the "evidence" consists only of video of me beating the shit out of the plaintiff, despite the AUDIO which clearly captured the "hate crime" part ... but it's all up to a jury and Rensselaer county isn't exactly known for its sympathy for those of us over here in "commie county" ... in the end, comes down to Joe sixpack, and we're likely to lose. Law says "basis is residence of the plaintiff." :( We shall see. :-\ |
