Obama, Alicia Keyes, and Halle Berry are classic examples of what? I don't see them making a big deal about their racial identity.

So much has been said about Obama as (maybe) America's first black President that it's very easy to forget his mixed background. Keyes has practically turned into a black militant. Berry stood onstage at the Oscars and called herself the first African-American winner, even as the cameras showed her (very white) mother in the audience. Woods may joke about his mixed ancestry but everyone considers him black (he's Asian more than anything else).

Speaking of Asian, there are a *lot* of mixed Asian-white children in America today. It'll be interesting to see how they identify themselves as they get older and become more conscious of racial identity. Will they consider themselves mixed race, or fully Asian?
