Obama, Alicia Keyes, and Halle Berry are classic examples of what? I don't see them making a big deal about their racial identity. Tiger Woods was raised by both parents and made a point of saying that he is "Cablanasian" or whatever.Anyway I know mixed race people that were raised by single white mothers, single black mothers, as well as both parents and I don't see any trends like that. Most identify as either black or bi-(or multi) racial. There can be differences even in the way that siblings will self-identify. |
