Palin is the hypocrite par excellence.Studies show that teen marriages have a very high rate of divorce. However, given the other alternatives, Bristol's getting married qualifies as making the best of a bad situation for the child - that is, it's the best of a group of suboptimal options. The father is an immature young man with poor social skills who could certainly improve and mature, given the right guidance. Too bad the Governor is too busy thumping her Bible in people's faces and running for office to pay attention to her kids needs. |
