But you do see where involving the 17 year old daughter of Sarah Palin is relavent, right? Let's take it a step further. If you think that Sarah Palin's daughter getting pregnant is reason for concern about how well she'll do the job of VP if elected - for moral reasons, then how far are you willing to take it?Do you think Mrs. Brown should be disqualified as a junior High School teacher if her daughter gets pregnant? Should Mr. Blue be disqualified & fired from his job as a police officer because his son is arrested for burglary? Should Mr. Katz lose his hack license because his son stole a car? I had a supervisor who worked for me and who's son was arrested for painting graffiti on a train. Should he have been demoted? Despite the greatest efforts, some children make mistakes in life. The worst thing a parent can do is not be supportive at those times. I don't know about you, but I'll bet that there were times when you screwed up and you were glad that your parents stuck by you and still never felt that they should have to pay the price for your mistakes. You guys need to start thinking like adults and not like political hacks. |
