Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer
The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller
Flowers For Algernon by Daniel Keyes
I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou
A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle

I read all of these in high school English classes (with the exception of Wrinkle and Flowers, which were in junior high).

Further, I would suggest that ANY negative comment or story about ANY political candidate be backed up by at least three (3) reputable news agencies before being perceived to be true.

And a note on sorting titles, it is traditional to sort titles starting with the words A or The using the second word (i.e. The Catcher in the Rye is sorted under C.)
