At least I'm not in Cardiff -- I'd thought the Taff was looking rather high... Apparently it's been chaos... But returning to our muttons, there's one final point of hilarity I hadn't noticed. The brouhaha about her trying to fire that librarian was in 1996. The first Harry Potter book wasn't published until 1997. I know that Sarah Palin is a remarkable lady, but banning books that hadn't been written yet would show an unimaginable degree of prescience. |
