I really don't get why this idiotic being would try banning these books. And they aren't even related.I read only three of those : To kill a mocking bird, one flew over the cukoo's nest, and the canterbury tales. I don't know why she would want to ban the canterbury tales. I can see why a fascist like herself would want to ban Mocking bird, and Cukoo's nest, though. Mocking bird was about a very excellent guy, who was very guy, who was a lawyer who protected a black guy while most of the town was against him. The black guy was accused of rape by a white trash type person. A fascist like Palin wouldn't want anyone to protect the wrongfully accused black guy. Cukoo's nest is very deep. I actually didn't fully understand its meaning. I think that the main character, who was dubbed crazy, was actually not crazy, but rather, society was crazy. Maybe it follows the logic that in an insane world, those dubbed insane are sane. Maybe some of those books are just fillers so that we don't pay attention to the main books she wants to ban? But why ban Harry Potter? I never read it, but I think it is just a harmless, fictional book about a boy wizzard. Why ban those particular books by Stephen King? I am actually not a very good reader though. I wish I would read more of those books. I tried reading Catch-22, but I couldn't, I kept re-reading the first pages. But even though I don't read as many as I should, I think it is wrong to ban ANY BOOKs. It is a SHAME that she tried to do this BULL that she fired someone IGNORANCE that people support her and ABUSE of her eleted office. Just think of what she will try to ban as vice president... |
