It's SOCIETY that has placed that 17 year old can't have babies, not the "body". The body is perfectly capable to have babies at even younger than that. I certainly don't condone it in our SOCIETY....however, where do you get that "the body isn't ready" at 17? That's ridiculous. The human body was designed to reproduce MUCH younger than we reproduce. Its SOCIETY that keeps pushing the reprduction age older and older. My grandmother was married at 17, and had 2 kids before she was 20. And that was normal back then. Obviously, in modern society, that's not done, and shouldn't, but don't say that the body isn't designed for it, as it is. |
