Who he needed to pick is not really clear. But what is clear is that he picked her because she is a woman, and no other reason.

There are so many groups in this country who feel that they have been wronged, and that by having one of their own in the White House, it will somehow make up for all that was done to them. That's what this election is all about now. Who can best energize their base to actually come out and vote.
