I remember when Long Island taxi cabs had to cover their outside advertisements with black canvas to use the parkways.And when I became a NYC Medallian cabbie in the early 70's we were specifically told that taxis were prohibited on the Merrit Pkway in Connecticut, which is the extension of NY's Hutch. |
