Racists are fond of throwing the phrase "Uncle Tom" around. The aforementioned Uncle is a fictional character that never existed, not to mention a blatant stereotype.

I don't believe you're a de-facto racist, but using a caricature that never existed to describe somebody is not only unfair, it's invalid.
