I expect better from The Infallible One. HA! Why not read what I post instead of pretending to read my mind? Did I say anything about "Congress"? I referred, rather, to the "business community" which tends to be Republican where the strongest anti-immigrant voices are heard. Yet now that so many "businesses" are short of (cheap) labor, a backlash within the Republican party seems to be forming. I'm merely an observer to this reality enjoying a bag of microwave popcorn while this film plays out. So many of your posts remind me of the oral defense of my dissertation where I was peppered with questions that seemed designed to highlight the erudition of the examiners rather than give me a chance to say what I knew. Petty and pedantic. Argument for argument's sake. |
