No, the usual Uncle Tom turned a simple statement into a race issue. I'll try to be more succinct: I'm amazed that while there are several countries where people are starving, the US has enough food to waste in competitive eating. If you want to celebrate July 4th then watch the fireworks or play baseball. Dont' watch a group of men eat 50 hot dogs and then throw it back up. Gluttony is a sin.
