And it's not just the fruit, it's the cables underground, it's the soldering in electronics sweatshops, it's the textile industry ("Se necessitan operadores") and so many other "chit jobs" that won't pay a fair wage for insane amounts of manual or expert labour. I read another article about it earlier, and one employer was only able to get ONE "legal worker" but after they were hired, they failed to show up for work.I love it when a "lack of a plan" comes together, to praphrase "B.A. Barracus." :) |
