But did you need to earn as much?It seems that there's more bills today than 10 years ago even! Cell phones and internet? More power usage. Other utilities. And the myraid of costs just from owning a car versus taking a streetcar ride for a nickel. And if people have more stuff today, I guess they have to replace a lot more stuff when it breaks. I wonder if the issue is because of all the bills. People pay for TV and bottled water today! Sometimes I do wonder. |
